Hellscream Raiders is recruiting for our one and only 25 man raid team. We would love to have a Prot Pally, Holy Pally, RDruid, and any spec Shaman. Though, anyone interested in joining and willing to play the game is welcome! We have been fighting the roster boss and basically need any warm bodies to prevent losing loot to PuGs. The goal is to have a small bench to allow for vacations and emergencies that rotates through players fairly.

• Loot Council has been continuously voted as the guild’s loot system since AQ40 and has been a great success with a knowledgeable and fair council.

History:

• Hellscream Raiders was founded less than 2 months after launch in 2004 on the Azgalor server. The guild reformed on Faerlina for the launch of Classic WoW and a chunk of us have played together since, making new friends along the way. HSR was the highest performing casual guild in Classic WoW. Lead then by a keyboard turning undead warrior, we raided all the way into Naxx without requiring world buffs or even full consumes! HSR then continued into TBC with a cute new GM and a slightly less casual take on raiding, actually requiring consumes, gems, enchants and PvE specs on raid day. I took over as GM just as Sunwell launched and was proud to lead the team to 6/6 pre-nerf in some of the hardest boss fights yet! We are excited to raid all the way through Wrath and we just need your help to make it happen!

We’re looking for talented and experienced players for Classic Wrath who are dedicated, care about performance. We aim to perform at a high level on a two-day schedule while maintaining a fun, but focused raid environment.

Raid Times:
Friday: 8pm - 11:00pm server time
Saturday: 8pm - 11:00pm server time

Raider Expectations:
Come to raid prepared: full consumables, optimal gear, proper enchants/gems, and understanding all of the fights.

Loot Distribution:
We use a loot council; loot is awarded based on the following criteria: Strength of Upgrade, Performance, Attendance, Raid Preparation, Team Helpfulness and Positive Attitude. ThatsMyBis to distribute loot. Loot prio is transparent, visible to all raiders and subject to change.

Instructions Unclear are a bunch of quirky players huddled together in this mid-core guild. Many of us are ‘working adults’ (whatever that means) and we still make the time to commit to two raiding nights a week. Many of us raid more on alts (or both for the insane few.) Although we give each other crap from time to time, many of us have been playing together since classic (or before.) The newer players blend in with the rest of the group as we all make each other laugh (with whimsical dad-jokes and raunchy irreverent humor all mixed in.) We do our best to pull together to help each other, and we hope new members feel the same.

Who are you?

• You know your class and role, and enjoy both.
• You can hold your own with your role during raid, and aren’t afraid to learn new techniques to help push content.
• Serious enough to respect parses, but fun enough to laugh at the sweat lords.
• Someone mature enough to cope with sitting out occasionally. We handle the rotations with plenty of notice, and do them as fair as possible (with veteran raiders also taking their turn.)
• Our preference is commitment to at least 80% attendance. We understand life happens and everyone has to adult sometimes.

Trial

• 2 week period with the possibility of loot during trial.
• We will be observing if you vibe with us during the trail, and we suggest you do the same.
• If you decide to just hang with us, that’s cool too. We have a few social members.

Raids

• Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 - 9:30 PST (server)
• Pop up raids listed in discord and can pretty much happen when ever

Loot System (The IMPORTANT details, we know.)

• Addons: MRT
• Loot Council with some mandatory add-ons (RCLC)
• Items awarded not only with ThatsMyBiS lists each player maintains, but also public priority lists, need of the raid, and attendance.
• LC members are 3 officers, and 2 random raiders that rotate each month.
• We strive to be fair and for everyone to be involved.
• Prio lists are discussed a few weeks before new raid content.

< Island Boys > is a semi-hardcore guild whose core has been together since Classic Era. 50/50 10m TOC HC and 4/5 HC 25m TOGC (Anub HC 5%). We have a relaxed environment but expect attentive, prepared, and goal oriented players.

We operate with a 28 man core group. We’re currently recruiting for depth and higher performance. We run two 10 man groups each week and our main 25 man. We are a fair loot council group that uses RCLootCouncil and thatsmybis.com for added transparency.

Expectations:
Gem/Enchant/Flask/Potion as expected. Pre-pots are expected. Links to guides we use are provided in appropriate Discord channels and familiarity is expected.

Be an expert at your position. Research your class and play the best performing spec for the tier and for our comp. Use parses to your advantage and class discords for research. Lean on leadership for advice when needed.

Raid Schedule:
Tuesday/Wednesday 7:30pm-11pm EST. Must be on for invites at 7pm.
