About Us:

Gamer Down is a new Mythic-focused guild reformed from Vinland-Area 52. We are guild with goals to progress deep into Mythic while improving each tier and creating a tight-knit community of raiders and m+ers. We are looking for additions to our raiding family that can maintain attendance, be motivated to do better, non-toxic, and have fun!

I have been putting this off for too long, so here goes:

The time has come for me to assemble a new team under an old banner. Temerity is an old guild name I am reviving for The War Within with a focus on AOTC and Keystone Hero level play (at minimum).

I am currently looking for any and all abled-bodied players that are interested in accomplishing those goals (as I am).

I should note, this will not be the character leading the guild in War Within. Because of the possible reaction from my current guild, I will need to keep my identity under wraps for the time being.

Things to know about me and the expectations for this guild:

I am a multiple AOTC and Keystone Hero level player myself. I feel like this is the perfect “sweet spot� for gameplay in the game.

This will be an adult guild, where adult talk may happen on Discord. If you have trouble with that kind of talk, you may need to look elsewhere.

I will be banning hate speech of any kind and major discussions on politics, for obvious reasons.

This will be a guild where we don’t expect people to make WoW their second job. Your personal life comes first, if you want to spend it with us, great, if you need to be elsewhere, you won’t be penalized by the guild for it.

We will encourage grouping with EVERYBODY in the guild, and not just making little groups that go off and do their own thing. If you’re a tank, healer, or DPS, you will be expected to offer your services to EVERYONE who wants to do content, but likewise, you won’t be required to group up if you are working on your own thing. I don’t want to see “cliques� form, that will only cause people to feel left out and want to find another guild.

One last thing: This guild will operate on Wheaton’s Law: “Don’t be a (paraphrased) jerk�. If you’re the type of person who enjoys antagonizing others, you won’t last long here.

Raid schedule is not set in stone yet, but I’m eyeballing a possible Saturday/Sunday timeframe. This will be up for discussion once we have a viable roster.

As this server cluster works on CST, we will be operating within that for scheduling. I currently reside in EST but I’ve already adjusted to the hour difference.

As stated above I cannot reveal my “main� yet, so for now you will have to respond to this thread which I will monitor or simply apply to the guild on Dentarg/Whisperwind. Firelink Shrine exists as a community for like-minded semi hardcore player, who wish to push themselves without turning it into a job. We are focused on PvE content and socializing. We are very LGTBQ inclusive and do not accept any form of harassment or bigotry.

We are taking it slow for S4, but are still raiding once a week, Wednsday at 5pm PST. We will be raiding twice a week starting in TWW.
Our current team has a mix of former CE and Mythic raiders and AOTC raiders. We do not enforce strict requirements, and only ask that you be willing to improve. We are a team and we learn and grow as a team.

Chain Reaction (cross-faction) on Lightbringer raids T/Th 7-9:30 pm pacific–focused on Ahead of the Curve heroic raiding. We’re looking to bring in raiders for 10.2 and beyond. Priest, Mage, Demon Hunter high need, open to other classes if a good fit.

We are a mid-sized guild, established in 2009. We have consistently achieved Ahead of the Curve since Cataclysm. We also enjoy pushing Mythic + (many raiders earn KSM/KSH/beyond), a little PvP, old runs for Achievements/transmog, etc.

We have people around just about every night up for something!
