< Infusion > of Azjol-Nerub was founded in April of 2007. The guild started out pushing to be best on realm, which we accomplished. Then the next goal was top US 100. Now we’re older and have more responsibilities outside the game, but still want to be successful. Our goal every tier is Cutting Edge. When we do not meet this goal we don’t disband instead we reflect and figure out where we can improve going forward to meet our expectations.

The core of the guild has been playing together for years, people have their career jobs, families etc. So while the guild’s mentality is a bit more casual (“Dad Guild�), the competitive nature of mythic raiding is still there. We push until the end of a tier if that’s what it takes. (3% Mythic Gul’dan wipe the last night before Tomb came out, CE Jaina last night it was available) We may evaluate the time we have left and make a decision as a guild to not push. (2 weeks left for Argus, G’huun etc) but during that time we’ll do all the farm we can for the next content push. Cutting edge is the goal, but having fun along the way and making a community or family for people matters just as much.

We maintain a relaxed environment while keeping a serious attitude for progression. We fully understand that WoW is a game; you won’t perform your best if you’re not having fun and that’s our basis of raid every night. We also want to drive home the ideology that all of us are carving out these 9 hours a week in our busy lives. Come prepared and don’t waste your own time, along with 20+ others time.

We do not over-recruit. We have Discord interviews with all recruits and only accept those who we feel will fit best in our small family. While we keep the roster small, we make sure everyone understands the nature of mythic raiding. We take the best comp into a fight and mold it around what works best for us. If that includes sitting half of our melee, that’s what we’ll do. We only recruit who and what we’re after, we don’t take chances.

We require all recruits to be in guild, that requires Alliance and on our realm until Blizzard can figure recompiling old code. This is due to us valuing how someone fits in, and community/family feel at a high level.

Raid hours are Tues-Thurs 9-12 EST (6-9 PST).
(We historically add two Mondays that are optional on new tier releases. We use these Mondays to do normal/clean up what we can)

• In a raider, we expect the will and drive to learn and collaborate, as well as openness to constructive criticism, initiative to research and master your class, and the desire to progress at a moderate pace by bringing a positive attitude.
• We want mature, goal-oriented, and chill raiders who enjoy raiding and want to be here to have a good time with us. Each minute of raid time is valuable. We need you to be punctual and prepared.
• We also expect you to know the boss strategies. Fights are a lot less frustrating when everyone is prepared and knows what to do ahead of time. Speaking up and asking a question when you don’t understand a mechanic or strategy is encouraged.

We are a guild founded by Vanilla experienced players. Our sole focus when playing this game is to progress to new bosses and get out of the old content. Farm content is dull, and if that’s all WoW had to offer, we wouldn’t be playing. Getting those first kills on tough fights are why we play this game. Aside from that we do enjoy busting each others balls, and having a good time on fights that we can do with our eyes closed. We like to joke and goof around while still getting content cleared; but when it comes to new content, the jokes end and we get serious.

COMMUNITY:
We are looking for players that realize WoW is more MMO and less RPG. By which we mean that we want players that recognize the social aspect and goals of this game. Let’s be honest, if this were a single player game it would be very bland. We want people that are active on Discord, enjoy hanging out outside of raids, and generally just fun to play with. While we do enjoy goofing on each other, we also want people that understand what respect means, and how to give and earn it. You need to be the kind of player that understands the guild’s success is your success.

We want the best that your class has to offer. Are you always looking for ways to improve yourself? Are you trying to figure out what a person of your class did to “beat� you rather than sum it up as gear or RNG? Do you look forward to wipes and progression? Do you like everything WoW has to offer? NO DRAMA:
Practically every serious guild makes this promise. Most fail to deliver. We understand that one of the biggest guild killers is stupid, pointless drama. Should an issue arise that can not be immediately resolved, then the offending people(s) are simply removed from raid and we continue on without them; leaving them to wait until we’re done with the raid before we deal with them. The raid comes first, always. What you do on your own time is your own business, but the moment you step foot into a raid with 20+ other people, you are no longer on your time. You’re on the guilds time. It isn’t your 3 hours spent raiding that night, it is the raids 3 hours spent raiding that night. NO ONE, and I repeat NO ONE has the right to waste it.

Hello! Hierarchy is seeking DPS to fill out our Mythic raid roster. We raid 2 days a week: Wednesday and Friday from 7:30pm to 10:30pm Eastern Time. Non-LGBTQ+ friendly need not apply.
Our top recruitment priorities at the moment:

• Mage
• Demon Hunter
• Warrior
• Druid

We are full on tanks/heals currently, but may consider some of these roles:

• Healers: Druid, Evoker, Monk (Dps offspec a huge bonus)
• Tank: Death Knight, Warrior (fulltime tank slot may not be available)

All skilled and experienced players are encouraged to inquire regardless of class/spec.

Our core is comprised of players with an immense amount of high level experience and having recently returned to the game during the Shadowlands expansion we are looking to return to a high level raiding guild on a smaller 2 day schedule.

The trial process is a 2-3 week “trial by fire� where you will be tested with the raid team on farm and possibly even progression. You may have a performance review with an officer if needed and we will let you know if you’ve passed.

(Passing your trial does not guarantee a spot every single raid, but we will rotate around as needed and try our best to be fair to everyone on the roster)
