Alpha is a progression-minded guild that has enjoyed success for over 16 years and understands how to stay competitive in the ever changing World of Warcraft. We have historically been around the top 100 US peaking as high as #1 at the start of the WotLK expansion.

The membership is comprised of a diverse group with an average age of mid to late 20’s, with some outliers.

We are pretty open on Discord and expect prospective members to be able to interact socially and contribute a personality to the guild.

We enjoy our alts and will occasionally use them for progression if the situation warrants. We keep them current through weekly heroic raids which are also attended by friends and family members.

We raid from 9 PM EST to 12 PM EST Tuesday-Thursday. 9 hours a week.

Application Process:

Our trial period is typically quite lengthy, as we look to recruit people that can fit in long-term. We will give all accepted applicants ample chance to prove they should stay on as a member. During this time applicants may receive items and are encouraged to be active with the guild during and outside of raids in things like Mythic+.

Recruitment
Draconic Savant is a mature Cutting Edge raiding guild, in order to achieve our goal of cutting edge every single tier in Dragonflight we are only accepting players with relevant Mythic raiding experience, or returning players with Cutting Edge experience.

The application process for Draconic Savant starts with an application, followed by an interview, and then a two-week trial. All raiders are expected to adhere to the following standards:

• 95% attendance every tier during progression.
• Continuously improve by reviewing logs and learning about your role/spec.
• Maintain your characters gear, all raiders are expected to achieve at least KSM every season to upgrade gear obtained from Mythic +.
• Show up to raid prepared.

We are currently recruiting the following roles:
Melee DPS: Enhancement Shaman
Ranged DPS: Devastation Evoker or Warlock
Healer: Holy Priest

If your class is not listed above, we will always consider exceptional applicants.

Raiding Days and Times:
During progression we will raid 3 days a week for 3 hours each day (we add 1 day on Wednesday for the first two weeks and final moments of the last boss):

• Monday: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Pacific Standard Time (U.S. Los Angeles)
• Tuesday: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Pacific Standard Time (U.S. Los Angeles)
• Thursday: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Pacific Standard Time (U.S. Los Angeles)

Once CE has been achieved, we will raid 1 – 2 days a week for mounts, parses, and gear. Ideally a break is provided between tiers where the guild doesn’t raid for a few weeks.

What We Offer Outside of Raiding
If you’re looking for a community outside of raiding than Draconic Savant strives to achieve just that. We do guild Mythic + content and leveling, play games together outside of World of Warcraft, and have movie nights throughout the month.

Draconic Savant runs the administration portion of the guild like a business: we stive for professionalism in order to push our progression goals. We believe that a professional, well ran organization will attract and maintain solid players.

We strongly believe that we must respect our raiders time and provide a return on investment for our raiders. WoW Players give both time and money (in the form of a subscription) to raid in WoW. Envy
We are a guild founded by Vanilla experienced players. Our sole focus when playing this game is to progress to new bosses and get out of the old content. Farm content is dull, and if that’s all WoW had to offer, we wouldn’t be playing. Getting those first kills on tough fights are why we play this game. Aside from that we do enjoy busting each others balls, and having a good time on fights that we can do with our eyes closed. We like to joke and goof around while still getting content cleared; but when it comes to new content, the jokes end and we get serious.

COMMUNITY:
We are looking for players that realize WoW is more MMO and less RPG. By which we mean that we want players that recognize the social aspect and goals of this game. Let’s be honest, if this were a single player game it would be very bland. We want people that are active on Discord, enjoy hanging out outside of raids, and generally just fun to play with. While we do enjoy goofing on each other, we also want people that understand what respect means, and how to give and earn it. You need to be the kind of player that understands the guild’s success is your success.

We want the best that your class has to offer. Are you always looking for ways to improve yourself? Are you trying to figure out what a person of your class did to “beat� you rather than sum it up as gear or RNG? Do you look forward to wipes and progression? Do you like everything WoW has to offer? NO DRAMA:
Practically every serious guild makes this promise. Most fail to deliver. We understand that one of the biggest guild killers is stupid, pointless drama. Should an issue arise that can not be immediately resolved, then the offending people(s) are simply removed from raid and we continue on without them; leaving them to wait until we’re done with the raid before we deal with them. The raid comes first, always. What you do on your own time is your own business, but the moment you step foot into a raid with 20+ other people, you are no longer on your time. You’re on the guilds time. It isn’t your 3 hours spent raiding that night, it is the raids 3 hours spent raiding that night. NO ONE, and I repeat NO ONE has the right to waste it.

Our goal in our guild is to build a strong community that can clear content at a Cutting Edge pace while enjoying each others company.
