Established in 2020 Hey Nice Marmot is an english speaking, adult, chilled, AOTC, cross faction guild based on EU-Draenor. We have built our community away from the usual toxicity, drama, bs and hostility other guilds and group finder have to offer. We have a great, friendly, and interesting bunch of people aged between 20 and bus pass from throughout the UK, EU and further afield with varying amounts of skill and experience. Some members have played since vanilla; some have only found wow more recently and everything in between.

Our overall goal is to build a great community of like-minded people to enjoy the game together and experience the range of content wow has to offer whether that be raiding, m+, leveling, mount/ach/transmog runs and everything else in between.

Raiding

The marmots have 2 raid teams; a casual raid team and a more focused core raid team. Since forming in Shadowlands we have achieved curve every tier.

Throughout both teams we aim to keep a chilled out vibe, we don’t care about the meta, the best parses or want an intense raiding environment however we want players who are looking to constantly improve themselves, will put work into their characters, learn from their mistakes, be able to receive and give constructive criticism and generally put the teams and guilds need before their own. Just turning up on raid night is not sufficient.

Our Core Raid Team runs 2 days a week (WED/THUR 2030-2300ST). As a more focused team we expect a bit more from our players in regards to performance, consistency, attendance and commitment. As such there will be a trial period for this team. Our Core Raid cycle is usually 12 weeks, achieving AOTC in around 6 weeks and then having the raid on farm and possibly dabbling in a couple of mythic bosses depending on interest and numbers.

Currently our Casual Team currently runs 1 day a week (MON 2030-2300ST) This run is for social members or alts who can’t regularly commit or want to experience the raid at a slightly slower pace and an environment with less pressure of the damage and heal checks of the core raid. The goal is to achieve AOTC before the end of the season and we may add an extra day depending on interest/progress.

Mythic+

We love running m+ and pushing each other’s keys. There are toons and players in the guild at all key levels; those starting out on their journey learning what mobs to interrupt and what mobs blow you off the platform, those looking to achieve KSM/KSH every tier and those pushing higher keys.

Keys are run in the guild daily and we also put on some events and welcome all to build knowledge, experience and have a laugh in a no pressure, chilled environment.

Social

We also enjoy leveling, world quests, doing mount runs, dungeon and raid meta-achievements and some light pvp. We also have an active discord and play other games too!

Raid Progress (Horde- EU - TwistingNether) is now recruiting for our core raid team going into Season 4! We plan to be a semi-hardcore guild, and we are going into Season 4 looking to step it up a notch.

We are all former semi hardcore players in Mythic+. We are looking for high performing Players to join our raiding team, and ask that all applicants to have some mythic experience to share. We plan to raid Wednesdays and Sundays at 20:00pm - 23:00pm. When we aren’t raiding, we are doing LOTS of m+ keys.

We are a 2 day a week raid guild based on Draenor

After spending some time bouncing around guilds and trying to fit in with them, I found that I struggled due to either time constraints or with the seriously toxic environments (If that’s your thing that’s great, you do you, it’s just not for us). I decided to take a short break but have now come back to the game and I’m looking to build a raid team in preparation for the next tier to get a good start in The War Within

It’s good to have a laugh and enjoy our game time, but we also want to be able to clear content, and so Filthy Gamers was born. The game has evolved to a point where it’s pretty much a requirement to do all the things to progress at a reasonable rate and so I thought that the ideal solution would be to have a guild that focuses on 2 day a week raiding, leaving the rest of the week to do things like M+.

Puglife is harsh in both a raid and a m+ environment and can be daunting for many people. This means many people are left never being able to do the content they want to do in the game and they never get the opportunity to learn and become part of the community. I hope that with a guild focused on a nontoxic environment with the option to raid as well as do M+, people will be able to have fun and play the game without the stress of dealing with pugs.

What we’re looking for

If you’ve never raided or done M+ before that’s perfectly fine, we all have to start somewhere. There is new raid and dungeon content in each tier and it would be a great opportunity to learn together. As long as you are willing to put effort in and can take constructive criticism in order for us to improve as a team, you will fit right in, there is always new stuff for us all to learn.

The raiding plan is to achieve curve and then move to mythic at a natural pace on a 2 day a week schedule. I have had my days of hardcore raiding and while I still want to clear as much content as we can, I don’t want to do it at the expense of our sanity or free time. We are grownups with responsibilities like work and kids, free time is a precious commodity. In order not to waste that time we expect people to do their best, research the fights and their class, and turn up prepared to raid on time and with consumables.

As for M+, it has become an essential part of the game. It’s a fun way to spend time in a smaller group and achieve something in a shorter amount of time. We hope to be able to welcome people of all experience levels from complete newbies who have never done M+ to key pushers.

While we are happy to take inexperienced people, I do want to clarify that we will not be carrying people. You should not expect people to boost your freshly leveled character through your weekly dungeon.

Also, as M+ has become such a big part of the game, everyone who wants to raid will be expected to take part in M+ to maintain their character. You should know what your BiS items are and where they are from and make efforts to get them. The RNG gods are not always kind, but you’ll never get the item if you don’t do the content.

What we offer

I have had previous experience running successful raid guilds and have raided at the top end of content from TBC up until Legion. I took a bit of a step back in DF, still raiding in a guild, but at a more casual pace. I miss the more competitively friendly guild environment and would like to get that back.

I want to have a guild where people can have fun doing the things they like in the game. I won’t tolerate toxic behavior though and if you are an attention-seeking, childish type of person you simply won’t fit in with the guild.

With limited raid time, we want to make the most of it so invites will be at 19:50 so we can be ready to start pulling at 20:00. There will be a break mid-way through the raid of 10 minutes.

As the guild builds up, we will be looking at specific m+ nights to make sure everyone has a key done for the week who wants one.

Mop Remix

This is something that we will decide on when we have more members, but I am open to doing this as a guild if people are interested. S4 will be fated and therefore not entirely new content, so this might be fun to keep moral up till The War Within

Introduction

Affinity is a mythic raiding guild with a fresh, and forward-looking ethos. Our approach to raiding is simple, Cutting Edge each tier, as smooth as possible.

We are not setting for ourselves a world ranking target, and we do not believe in being try-hard for try-hard’s sake. However, we have a team of talented players who take the game seriously and most importantly respect each-other’s time put into it.

With a fantastic community established, with a history dating back over 6 years and a number of CE under our belt already, we are always on the lookout for new members to join us and expand our community of exceptional players.

Outside of raids, there are always m+ groups on the go, alt runs, PvP events and more.

Raiding Schedule

We operate on a two-day a week raiding schedule:

Thursdays & Sundays from 20:30 to 23:30 server time

A lot of our members are based in the UK so having a slightly later start time works well for having a bit of downtime in the evening before raid start.

During new content, and if we are reaching a critical moment in a tier (i.e. close to downing a wall boss or end boss) we will look to schedule an additional raid on a Wednesday. Prospective applicants should be flexible to make all three days if required.

Casual Embrace is a resurfacing guild based on its short-lasting predecessor from 2011. Because of that the guild is starting from a scratch, but that’s also an opportunity for people who would want to apply to become its officers.

The main point of this guild is to create a friendly and mature environment for players to work together and achieve great things. A guild good for newcomers and inexperienced players, but also for people willing to build a core team that would focus on meta content, such as gearing or even Ahead of the Curve in the upcoming expansions.

When it comes to RP. The guild would help its members organise RP sessions. For example a gathering of mercenaries or perhaps a witch hunt? Anything we would agree on together. Cyclical events would be suitable as well.

As the guild name suggests it is mostly meant for players who have little time, but a lot of will to do content together. Currently the guild is gathering members, searching for officers and people eager to do PvE content in the War Within. This guild is a clean slate for anyone who either started the game or came back after a while and is searching for a dedicated team of people. Let’s mold something great together!
