Also, in order to be able to join our main team straight away, you need to meet the requirements for our current progress, which are around 570+ item level equipped.

We are always open to discuss the possibility of a merge and have been able to incorporate successfully in the past smaller teams and guilds to our roster. Most of us are versatile people and would be willing to accommodate for some restructure in the team and specs, provided of course that you work with us in the same spirit of cooperation.

ABOUT US

Gordian Knot is a semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.

We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 80% attendance per month. Our wish is for this guild to provide a place for our members to call home and enjoy all aspects of this game in a fun and relaxed environment.

We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
We generally aim to push Mythic+ to get +15 keys done for the weekly chests. We do this in spirit to help everyone in the guild getting their highest possible gear reward from their weekly cache (socials included).

There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.

CURRENTLY

We raid 2 nights a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, from 20:15 till 23:15 server time. Our raid invites always start 15 minutes prior to each raid.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot’s way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays, and also we’re on RBGs killing alliance scums every Friday or Saturday or on other in game activities if not on RBGs!

Our current guild progress is VOTI 7/8M | ATSC 8/9M | ATDH 7/9M, and we’re focusing on getting further progress in Dragonflight. Our aim is to always progress as much as possible but also to have a relaxed and fun atmosphere at the same time!

Who We Are

The Whimsicals is a mature, HC/Mythic raiding guild looking for dedicated players to join our roster for The War Within and beyond. We offer a friendly environment with a perfect balance of casual banter and serious progression.

We’re a semi-HC guild with a strong core team for HC already, looking to add to our team and potentially step onto the mythic scene.

The guild started back in WoD with a tight-nit group of IRL friends from Denmark who have been raiding together on and off since. We’re back for TWW looking to form a strong team with great personalities.

Through the years members have left and rejoined every expansion thus conserving the core group with added members from all around EU.

We are a somewhat serious group of players but the core essence is to have fun and progress through systematic problem solving, without blaming people for potential mistakes.

Many members are now in their 30’s (golden age rip) with families or work which they have to prioritize . It is therefore also a community that respects peoples time and other commitments.

Hello there guys ! After a lot of RP games that i have played with huge depth of creating stories and give content into my gameplay and to all other people, I decide that i want to see the same,into
my favorite game that i play the last 20 years…I played few times in some rp servers in WoW but i never found the hardcore rp that i was seeking except 1-2 times in some guilds in past. Of course it was some guilds
and maybe some still playing but they didn’t had exactly what i was looking for.

So as i said i decide to create a Guild that will be 100% Hardcore Rp Alliance Side.
*For me, for some friends and for people that want to play roleplay and want to spend some hours of their life with meaning… *
Its not all about the purpose… But the meaning of the purpose, of the act and for everything…

Some words about me…
I am 36 years old . Old dog of wow , i am mostly of the PvE content as semi-tryharder , with 4 Cutting Edge.
I made a break after BFA and Jaina to Classic servers and i came back to play and give hours to RP and to stories/content create.
I had my own boosting teams in some servers (yea yea i am not so proud about that cause its the opposite of rp and from what i want to play)
I am freak with Organize and i want all to work perfect , with communication,teamwork and of course organize.
3 words about my advantages is Fair,Passionate and Organizational.

This project is totally new and will created when and if i found some specific people that want to be a huge part of this.
( I will explain what we want/need and what i mean with specific people in 2. paragraph )

1.Some words for what we want to create.

A) You don’t have to be RP Master or Loremaster of WoW. You can probably be the guy that you skip cinematics.
No worries about that. We will find the Perfect people to driven you into the Lore.Just don`t act like as you know the Lore.
Create a story or a background of your character that not depends on the Lore but something else.
And you will learn some parts of the Lore if you wish near your teammates as your character develop his story.

Î’) The name and the backstory of the Guild will be created when the CORE team will be ready

C) When you represent the guild

• Communication
  No whispers,No Discord(for the ingame reasons)-> When you want to talk to each other use mailbox. We ll have also a place that use it as Home in rp
  that we log out and hangout there.Whispers only when you are very near with other (like you whisper in real life)
• Of course when we need to battle PvE , PvP we will talk in Discord for tactics,calls etc but in the sametime we will play also our RP without being
  OOC.
• As i said before, we will find a place, to use it as a Home, that we will log out and log in there. We will hang out there so be much easier to find each other
  without mailbox.
• NEVER you cant go OOC. When you log in , real life will be the WoW. Even if someone doesn`t play RP , you will stay in your RP mode.(Except if its totally necessary and crucial to go OOC but try to avoid that.)
• Transmog will be the same for all depends the content that we will have.

D) Priorities,Focus and Goals
Our Priority is RP… This is the MAIN and ONLY Priority.
After this we will focusing on everything.
Mythic raid (when we create a proper team/group that can push the raid as far as we can)
Mythic+ Dungeons,PvP,Transmog and Mount Runs, whatever.
Maybe i am delusional if i believe that i can create something that the priority is the RP and also take 1 more Cutting Edge.
But i will try to create a team that everyone can get a place. The only requirement is that anyone that want to be one of us , he/she can play RP.
I want players that can push Raids and Keys,I want players that can act in the rp situation.I want players that can create stories.
I want everyone.To be a part of a Guild, of a community and of family in this try to create all together something huge.
Everyone who love the pure hardcore RP.

E) Recruiting

Every recruit that will be in future , will be 100% with RP. And of course every recruit will have his own ritual.
If your friends or discord friends or whatever of course they can join us. But everything will be with RP.
Not just an invite without story,facts,rituals etc.

We will create a lot of stories,events and make some noise with a lot of content.
Not only hanging around in Capital Cities. But with a lot of stuff that i have in my mind and with your ideas that we can create together.
Puzzles,to every player in the server, conspiracy, events , shows , attacks , a lot of different things and ofc not only inside guild.

F) NO ERP.

2. WHAT WE NEED / WANT / SEEK.

a) Only people that will play RP. (This is requirement)
b) People that knows the LORE for specific role (This IS NOT requirement to join us,just for specific role)
c) People that master his own Class for specific roles.
d) People with imagination and exp of creating stories.
e) People with exp as Raid Leaders on Raids

The Core team will be with some of you. With people that have to give something like rp,knowledge,imagination,passion and organize.
When and IF the CORE team will be ready we will START…

Hope i can find people with same beliefs and not only killing mobs,farm and progress.
I want also that but with wonderful and amazing stories of every character.
Will be difficult but i know that is out there a lot like me that they seek the same.
