Retired’s recruitment doors are open for Shadowlands!

We are an established stable guild who have been going since the early TBC, and are now part of the Arathor/Hellfire/Kilrogg/Nagrand/Runetotem conglomeration. Otherwise known as AHKNR, or HARKN. KRHAN? Either way it sounds like Klingon.

We are currently firming up our roster in anticipation of the release of Shadowlands and have the following openings:

Current recruitment:

• Tanks – potential room for a 3rd tank with a dps offspec willing to rotate/cover as needed.
• Melee DPS – all applications considered though at current we specifically lack a Demon Hunter to buff the actual dps. High interest also in Rogue and Warrior.
• Ranged DPS – again all applications considered, can never have enough ranged mechanic fodder. High interest in Mage, Warlock, Shadow Priest.
• Healers – currently limited dependant on dps contingent.
• We will also consider group applications if you are looking for a change with a friend or 4.

Some info about the guild:

• Retired is a social guild that raids 3 times a week, focused on clearing current content on Heroic difficulty.
• Our raid days are Thursday, Sunday and Monday.
• Other days involve raids for alts, slave fishing labour etc.
• Raids are from 20:30GT to 23:15GT.
• We currently use Discord. Being able to speak isn’t a requirement (though we like to hear your dulcet tones) but we use voice-chat as the main method of communication during raids.

We expect the raiders to:

• We try to maintain a fairly consistent roster of raiders, so we prefer our members to try and maintain a 70% attendance to raids. This of course takes into consideration sudden holidays/arranged sick leave etc.
• Have the correct addons (Omen, DBM/BigWigs)
• Be prepared. i.e. know the basic strategies, bring flasks, food. pots etc…
• Ask if there is something you don’t understand.
• Don’t take advice or sweets from Damson.

Reckless are currently in search of dedicated and skilled raiders to join our raid team. We cleared Castle Nathria Heroic in a good amount of time and plan to push out Sanctum of Domination Heroic to get curve ASAP.

A Bit About Us

Reckless is a semi hardcore raiding guild on Silvermoon EU (Alliance). We are English speaking, although we do have members from across Europe. We are different from other guilds because we value all our members equally. We don’t do the whole officer thing and hierarchy for a number of reasons, although we do have certain people within the guild to help run the admin of the guild tools such as inviting alts and raid leading. The guild has been around before raiding Mythic and now we have come back to raid as a more casual Heroic guild.

What to expect from us

We are a fairly laid back guild however when it comes to it we want to progress and so will focus and push for the kill. In a raid environment there is always a bit of chatter as we like to have happy raiders - this is the key to our success - that are at the same time, focused on killing the bosses at hand. Therefore there is no bad atmosphere during our raids but a relaxed, calm and focused atmosphere; we don’t like shouting at people for doing something wrong, instead we try and advise them on how to improve and try to guide them if needed.

Most (if not all) of our members will offer help out where possible. This can help people fit in and feel wanted. By joining us you won’t just be joining a raid guild - you will be joining a family.

What we are expecting from you

Reckless is looking for focused, friendly and mature people to join its raid team. Reckless is built on these morals, and if someone comes in just basically telling people they are crap, we don’t take this very well. If you are this sort of person we do not want you in our guild.

We expect you to turn up to raids prepared with flasks, potions and food and ask that you try to attend as many raids as possibly: around 80% attendance will be required. We do however know that people have lives and as such, can understand if you have emergencies or little ones needing your attention etc.

We also expect you to know at least the next 3/4 progress bosses that we will be going for; not knowing this will cause a problem as you will waste time and basically cause more wipes than necessary - wiping is a part of progress but if you are not prepared by watching tactics then it takes longer.

Who are we?
We are a social raiding guild, forged by friendship and the desire to have all the feasts on the server.
We are a friendly guild that has fun raiding together in a fun and more casual environment.
our raiding style is casual. But our aim is always to clear heroic and as long as signups will let us we will dip our toes in mythic as well.
Our raiding days and times are catered towards people with a working schedule and/or families.
We raid on Wednesday and Monday from 20:30 to 23:00 server time.

A group formed of friends from all over the place, with a truckload of raiding experience.
Currently we are moving over to Silvermoon to get a decent progression minded guild going. (Currently a 10-Player group)

Raiddays are Thursday / Tuesday 19:45-23:00
Main focus is getting Heroic down, but we are definitely open minded to get into Mythic if we get the numbers. We want to keep the sense of progression alive.

Social aspect is even more important, therefor Toxicity and Elitism will not be tolerated.
