About Us

The Leadership is well organized and structured as a brigade (Everyone has a specific role they manage within the guild).

SAF was formed 2½ months prior to Battle for Azeroth release by friends ( and friends of friends) who raided together at one point or another in previous expansions (with varying mythic experiences). The goal was to obtain CE, which we achieved in Ny’alotha, Cutting Edge remains the goal going from tier to tier on a light 6 hour schedule.

We strive to better ourselves each raid week and becoming a more solidified raiding unit, during trash there is a lot of banter, but when we’re facing a boss everyone turns the script and focuses up and gets things done.

Our raid times are Tuesday & Thursday from 8-11pm EST (Server Time).

Our optional night is Sunday 9-11pm EST. This is also the night where we’ll be doing Sale Runs to keep the Guild Bank sustained for progression costs.

P.S. First two weeks of a new tier (Heroic) we’ll raid on Wednesday (and other off nights) as long as people want to, to clear the instances as to not lose out on upgrades for the raid team.

—What we have to offer—

• We’re a serious yet fun Raid Team without the massive time commitment of 3-5 raids (9+ hours) per week, we utilize the raid times to the fullest extent in order to progress at a steady pace.
• We supply guild repairs for Core Raiders/Raiders/Trials (Incremental per rank (As long as the Guild Bank is kept sustainable throughout each tier))
• During raids we supply Cauldrons, Feasts, Enchants & Gems, Armor Kits. We’ll continue to do so as long as everyone helps keep the bank sustainable.
• Only things you need to supply yourself are Potions, Oils/Stones & Augment Runes.

—What we expect of you—

• Attendance

• Being on 15 minutes prior to raid start, ready to enter the instance.

  
  

• We expect 90% attendance for raids overall

  
  

• If it so happens you CAN’T make raid, you MUST post in our attendance channel (On Discord) otherwise it will be counted against your Trial/Attendance.

  
  

• Fully prepared for raids (Don’t forget grabbing things like your seals (When Applicable)) with consumables such as (Armor Kits, Oils/Stones, Tomes), watching the next fights in advance to have an idea of encounter mechanics)

• Knowing your class in and out, being able to maximize your output for each specific encounter (Talent Switching, don’t be “that� guy/girl who doesn’t care being talented wrong for an encounter, tomes are cheap) being up to date with class changes and so forth.

• Excellent raid awareness, being able to see what is happening around you and what is coming up next to avoid unnecessary damage taken or loss of damage.

• Being able to adjust quickly to changed circumstances that may arise during encounters.

• Team Player, the understanding of a rotating roster (This is very important, we don’t raid on an even 20 man roster, because Real Life will happen) to better optimize the raid for each boss as needed during Progression (WITHOUT getting Salty(We absolutely don’t have any interest in dealing with that)).

• Prior Mythic Raiding experience is required to some degree, you should know what comes with progression (There will be wipes) & a Stable Connection.

Hello! Hierarchy is seeking players to fill out our Mythic raid roster. We raid 2 days a week: Wednesday and Friday from 7:30pm to 10:30pm Eastern Time. Non-LGBTQ+ friendly need not apply.

Our top recruitment priorities at the moment:

The trial process is a 2-3 week “trial by fire� where you will be tested with the raid team on farm and possibly even progression. You may have a performance review with an officer if needed and we will let you know if you’ve passed.

(Passing your trial does not guarantee a spot every single raid, but we will rotate around as needed and try our best to be fair to everyone on the roster)

< Influx > is an Alliance Mythic Progression Guild based on Caelestrasz/Nagrand. Influx has an established core roster of mature players. While the guild has an expectation that people will prepare themselves for progression, we put focus on making our raiding and other activities an enjoyable experience for all participants. It’s a game - we want to have fun and real friendship rather than be a group of sweaty nerds who group for progression but actually don’t even like each other. We value reliability and team players. We also ensure that raids begin and end strictly on time. We are NOT a Cutting Edge guild but will progress as far into mythic as we are able to each tier. We hit the roster boss last tier but hope to resume mythic progression again this tier.

We’re a firmly established guild on Turalyon Alliance that has been around since TBC, and we have retained the same leadership since then. Our guild has a range of players, from those who have been playing since the original release of Warcraft to those just starting out in recent expansions.

We’re a very laid back guild who doesn’t demand people play the best class/spec of that tier, if you have fun playing an “off-meta� spec and can preform well then we’re perfectly fine with that, people matter more than class choice!

In short, if you like cheese, steaks & zombies - we might be a fit for you!

• Come to raid prepared, with whatever resources you need to do your best
• Let us know if you won’t be able to make raid, if we notice you have a tendency to flake out without saying anything, your spot may be revoked
• Be aware of boss fights/mechanics
• DBM/Big Wigs/MRT/alternative raid encounter add-on(s)
• Weak Auras 2 is also recommended
• Have a working microphone, and be prepared to orally communicate
• Regularly attend raids
• Be able to mesh and jive with the group (ideally no try-hards or massive egos, we’re not like that, and that sort of attitude usually means getting booted)

We aren’t a hardcore push guild by any means, nor do we promise any future CEs.

What we are is a guild just looking to see how far we can get into Mythic each tier while keeping a chill raid environment that can get serious when progress calls for it, though we get serious when needed toxicity and yelling are not tolerated.
We still expect raiders to show up on time knowing how to play their class and be willing to ask questions when needed. Things like feasts and phial cauldrons are provided, but still please bring your own just incase, or ask someone if they can spare some, always be prepared!
If you are looking to raid but haven’t played recently or just came back from a break we have no problem with that, as long as you’re willing to learn your class and learn mechanics, numbers can always be changed and improved.

Tanks:
Main tank spots are closed for now, flex tank spots are open though!
Dps:
Open to all DPS, strong preference on ranged DPS but happy to take in more melee.
Healers:
We have no open spots for core healers, but we do always welcome flex healers!

[] Will we be pushing Mythic for season 4?

[] Our plan for season 4 is to clear Normal & Heroic for the rewards, we want to use this as an opportunity to meet more raiders who would like to join us for The War Within & beyond!

Depending on group interest we may attempt more Mythic, but we don’t plan to push for prog until the new expansion.

[] How is loot handled?

[] With Personal loot gone, this is our plan for how loot will go throughout Dragonflight, this is specifically for need roles: You are allowed two ‘Need’ rolls per week, if you do not win an item from a ‘Need’ roll, then it will not count towards the two per week, need roll wins will be logged in discord, so we will remember who got what. Everyone will be allowed to ‘Greed’ roll, and winning an item from a ‘Greed’ roll will not lock you out of ‘Need’ rolls. We want to keep our loot system fair and simple without taking up too much raid time.

Please only greed roll on items if you are going to use it whether it be for off-spec or a minor side-grade. The transmog button is also used as a ‘greed’ button, so treat it as such and pass on transmog items. We do transmog rolls separately.

Trials are also allowed to roll on loot, however if we find that this causes problems we will re-evaluate this stance, we don’t want to gear people who will end up flaking off.

With the ‘very rare’ item drops, we also now have rules in place for those items, you will be asked to pass and whisper an officer if you need it, so we can figure out who should get what, based upon what would benefit our raid group the most, these are the only items we LC, everything else is free rolls.
The only reason we LC these items is to avoid any unnecessary drama.

We will now also pull random raiders to our LC chat so we always have a rotation of voices helping us discuss where the rare items should go!

[] What is our recruitment/trial process like?

How things tend to go are : You either add the btag/discord listed and we chat about if we’re the right fit for you and vice versa, or you put in an app from our guild site which answers most questions for us. In both cases I’ll check in with our officers & GM to see if everything’s good on their end, then we go from there!

When it comes to the trial part specifically, it’s really not a crazy-in depth process. We take you in as a trial and usually the “trial period� lasts 2-3 weeks, depending on things like performance and personality. As mentioned above you’re still able to roll on loot and you’ll be taken in during our raid nights, the only real restriction is bank access if you transfer over during your trial period.

That’s all it is really!

[] Are alts allowed in on main raids?

[] Most of the time the answer is no just to make main raid nights go by smoothly with minimal problems, some people want to bring in an alt that isn’t well geared, or they have no idea how to properly play it, so we do prefer you stick to your main. However, if your alt is just as geared as your main, or you’d like to main swap to it, that may change the answer, but ultimately it’s up to our Guild Master.

[] What if I want to swap from [A class] to [B class?]

[] Something we don’t really appreciate is people being flakey on the class they are maining, or wanting to fotm re-roll every second week, so we have a rule in place for main swaps.

Every tier you are allowed 1 swap from one class to another class, in some situations we may allow another swap after the initial one was used, but we do this to deter people swapping every week. We don’t want to continuously gear up a character you’ll just end up ditching once new patch notes come out.

One of the most important things to us is making sure everybody is playing a class and role that they genuinely enjoy, but we cannot cater to constant swaps on a whim.

[] Do we accept social members?/How social are we?

[] As of this moment, no. We do accept friends & family, but we’re not a social/casual guild, while we may be more relaxed than higher-end prog guilds - our priority is still raiding, so we’re only accepting people who wish to actively raid with us.

However, social members who would be willing to craft for the guild, we could consider.

As for how social we are, our activity fluctuates. Some days we may have higher than usual activity, and other days there may be 2-3 people on all day. When there are lulls in content then our general activity is decently low as most of our members will be on break/playing other games/busy with RL/etc.
We also aren’t a guild who has tons of members afk in voice chat everyday. Most of our social activity would be in discord text chats or the in-game guild chat.

If you are looking for a guild that has tons of people on every minute of every day, then we may not be the best fit for what you may be after.

[] Are there any event nights or dedicated M+ nights?

[] Not really, if someone wishes to set up an event night they may be welcome to, but they’d most likely need to hit up our Guild Master to confirm anything.
For dedicated M+ nights, we also don’t really have those, our members tend to just ask in guild chat or discord chat to see if anyone is around for keys.

[] Do we accept group applicants?

[] It really depends on the size of the group as larger groups can bring in problems or in some cases, frustration. Not only is it dependent on size, but it also heavily depends on how the group comes across and how well they’d be able to mesh with our group as well.

[] What if I can’t make a raid night/week/more?

[] If you’re unable to make a raid then please let one of our officers know or say so in our raid discussion channel in our discord, we really don’t appreciate people dipping in an out as they please or giving us zero notice ahead of time, especially if said person is an important role like a tank or healer. This is barring any real life emergencies, of course.

[] What if I haven’t raided in a long time?

[] We get a lot of people who return after long breaks, in some cases we may be full on spots and require more recent logs but for the most part we are happy to take any old or freshly returning raider, especially when new tiers or expansions just release.

[] Are realm/faction transfers required?

[] At the beginning of a tier, it’s not as important as we’ll be doing Normal & Heroic, but it is preferred that you transfer over, just so we know we’re not gearing someone who ends up guild-hopping. Again though its not really a requirement for that period of time and we won’t ever force transfers.

It becomes more of a requirement as we reach Mythic as we’ll need people on realm for that. Once cross-realm Mythic is a thing then we don’t really require it as much. Preferred sure but not required.

[] What if I only want to do Normal & Heroic?

[] We primarily recruit for Mythic as we need no help getting members for Normal & Heroic clears, so if you’re looking for only Normal/Heroic prog with no Mythic then we are not the guild for you.

[] How does our bench work?/Do we bench?

[] Depending on numbers/boss need/attendance/etc, we do bench. However, we don’t have any permanent bench spots nor do we recruit for permanent bench spots, we always rotate people in/out based on gear need or whoever still needs the boss kill. If you are benched for a night or a boss, we do our best to make sure you are brought in for next time.
