Welcome to the Season 4 From the Embers recruitment post!

Faction: Horde & Alliance are both welcome!

Realms: Headquartered on Laughing Skull - Clustered with Gilneas, Auchindoun, Elune, & Cho’gall. ((War Within is not only embracing cross-faction but a mega-server merge, so we’re accepting players across servers this season to raid with us in preparation for the next expansion. We’re not pursuing any content that would be locked out to players not on our realm/server. Once War Within launches, those players will be able to join the guild officially.))

Raid Schedule: We raid Tuesday and Thursday 8-10PM EST. For just Season 4 we’re only raiding 4 hours a week (War Within we’ll be raiding Tues/Thurs 8-11PM EST). Weeks 1-3 we’ll focus on clearing Normal as the Awakened raids cycle through their weekly rotation; if we clear early we’ll progress into Heroic. Weeks 4-6 we’ll be clearing Heroic. After week 7 all Awakened raids become available and we’ll work on finishing up our AOTC if need be. We always achieve AOTC.

Content: Aside from raiding, we do tons of keys of all ranges every day, mega-dungeons, alt-raids on the weekends, transmog and mount runs for those interested. Our Discord community is incredibly active and we’re usually hanging out in there, even if we’re not playing WoW.

Open Raid Slots

1 Healer/Flex DPS - Ideally a Mistweaver or Holy Priest, bonus points if they can swap to DPS

3 Ranged DPS - Our priorities: Warlock >>> Balance Druid > Mage > Shadow Priest. No Hunters.

2 Melee - Our priorities: Demon Hunter >>> Rogue >> Warrior. No Paladins.

In many guilds, you log on for your regularly scheduled raids and you’re just a body filling a role. It’s no different from an organized pug in that regard. We in Vitae Rising remember when raiding with a guild felt like being a part of a team of friends working together to reach common goals. We remember that, because that is the environment we continue to foster here. We have been playing/raiding/guild leading/officering together since 2004. Most of us are middle-aged adults with jobs, kids, and families but we have never forgotten that dragons in digital fantasy worlds need to be killed, drop loot, and we need to wipe a few times to get there.

We have achieved AOTC for every raid, but because of being real life adults now we do not raid Mythic difficulty. The guild is 18+ and for mature people only. If you are offended easily then this isn’t the guild for you. We are an intentionally small group because we value quality over quantity and look for people we will actually enjoy playing with.

We are currently in need of a few select dps and heals to fill out our team. Our main needs are:

Heals: Disc Priest, Holy Paladin
DPS: open to all specs
Tanks: Full
Always willing to consider exceptional players who we feel will mesh well with our team.

Raid days/times are Tue/Thur at 10:00 PM server (eastern) to 1 AM Eastern. (6 hours a week) AOTC and M+ pushing are our goals. Cross faction guilding welcome. We are horde but have some Alliance as well. Quality people please reach out!
